Professor Hans-Jürgen Möller is Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry and the former Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry, Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich. He has an interest in clinical research in psychiatry, as well as the biological basis of schizophrenia and depression.

Professor Möller is author or co-author of more than 1,300 publications, and has been the Editor-in-Chief of several leading psychiatry journals, including the European Archives of Psychiatry and Clinical Neuroscience.

Professor Möller is President of the Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum and has won several prestigious awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award of the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry in 2009. He has been awarded honorary doctorates and professorships from several universities.
